Good day:)

Zumba, Zumba, Zumba:) I know that is annoying, but it is fun and very physically demanding!!! I am proud of myself for keeping it up, even when I look like a total dork!!!
My breakfast was 2 eggs, *mostly yoke* on a 1/2 of sandwich thin 1/1 ham 1/0. (I know yokes are the high fat part, but I think the whites are gross)
Today when I came home, I wanted to eat some celery but not just cut it up with Ranch. I saw on Rachel Ray yesterday how good the leafy parts are for you too, so I cut it at a diagonal like she did. I then put 1 tsp of Cocktail Sauce with some ranch and ate it like a salad. I know you are thinking Cocktail sauce has a lot of sugar, but it actually calculates to less than 1 sugar....it was 10 sugars in a quarter cup....and there are 12 teaspoons in a quarter cup....I looked it up....So it made the celery salad kind of spicy and yummy. Who would have thought that it was ever anything that sounded good to me? The crunch was good and I felt like it was a bit of a treat!
For official lunch I had my yummy Chili with hot dogs 5/2. I just finished dinner which was a piece of steak and a  very small potato. I appreciate the advice of not eating carbs after 3, but Jorge does say to try and split up the meals 5/2, so most people do eat dinner after 3? I'm sure as I progress and get frustrated by not losing, I will realize that you were all right!!!
I have to say that I have been drinking diet soda when I go out to eat. I know that I have to give that up completely. I have cut down a ton. I used to refill my soda 3x during a meal. Now I have 1 glass. I do LOVE ice tea, but I like it sweeter than the 1 packet of Truvia makes it. It kind of makes it taste blah. Most of the places we eat do have good ice tea. I take the Truvia packets with me. We drank real sweet tea when I was growing up. 2 cups of sugar to every gallon!
I will have date dinner out tomorrow, and Sunday I am having family dinner. I hope I can find something that will be easy to make and everyone will like. Maybe I will make enchilada's with the tortilla's and see if I disguise them with enough sauce and ground beef! That's a plan:)
Again, thank you for the comments and advice. I so appreciate it! I am getting so excited to see another break in the scale. I am still consistently down 8.2, that's good right? Monday will be 4 weeks! If I could hit a 9 by Monday, you will hear my screams of joy all around the Country!

  1. I heard that zumba was so much fun. Maybe if I had someone to go with then I would get my lazy butt over there.
    You can use corn tortillas for the enchiladas - they just don't have any fiber thats all.
    As long as you are not going up its good. I know you will pass 9 very soon :-)
