Our weather continues to be dreary and sad....I try not to think about it, but it is kind of hard to ignore! I had a success for the day....I ate another one of the high fiber whole wheat tortilla's. I honestly thought I would get sick the first time, so this time I made it really soft in the microwave and had it as a breakfast burrito. It wasn't bad, but I can't imagine it ever being one of my favorite things. I made homemade spaghetti to take to my little sister that lives in nursing home. I counted all the sugar from the tomatoes etc. and stayed at the right pasta portion. I did not use whole wheat pasta. I have to work on that:)
The scale when I went to bed last night was the same as when I get up in the morning...I was so excited because I always way less in the morning. No such luck! I need to be grateful for the fact that I have lost at least 2 lbs a week. Even if I don't lose another pound before Monday, I have lost 8.2 lbs to date.
I did not work out 5 days. I am going to Zumba tomorrow, but I did nothing Tuesday or today. Oh well, next week? Ugh!!!
24 days sugar free!!!
I love reading everyone's blogs, thanks for the good information and all the inspiration. :)
Blessings to all!
I'm sorry about all the bad weather - you should come over here - it was 90 today. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteTry to warm the tortilla in a pan or over the fire. I use a griddle. Heat on one side, then flip over, add cheese, and fold in half. It tastes way better that way.
Remember your weight will fluctuate, so as long as it didn't go up - its a good day. :-)
You are doing great!!
Hey Kay! I am not a fan of the smart & delicious tortillas either. They make me gaggy and although they are a fiber bargain, no thanks for me! I just cant quite stomach them. Dont know what it is about them, but they just arent my cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet if you weigh yourself in the am, you will be less. ITs because you ate pasta for dinner last night. I try not to eat anything carb heavy the night before I weigh in cuz I always weigh in heavy the next day.
You are doing great! Keep up the good work!
