This looks awesome!

In case you guys aren't followers of this blog I thought I would post this. Can you imagine making a coconut loaf as quickly as you brew your coffee? Think of the possibilities! I have seen cake recipes done in the coffee cup. My favorite sandwich place has sandwiches that are round like a can, they hollow the middle out and then put all the sandwich fillings in. Yummy!!!
Dawn made my soup recipe....I am a famous chef now:)

  4. OK, so I tried these little gems....I don't know if it is me, or the coconut flour in general, but dry, dry, dry!
The recipe makes 2 so for the second one I added 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp Truvia. That one was edible, but only slathered in butter. I will be curious what other's think. I knew it said "slider" but I was not prepared for how small they really are. Easy peasy if you are used to the coconut bread! Endless possibilities!

  5. Kay, if yours came out dry, there could be several possible differences from mine. First, coconut flours can vary by brand, even by batch. If your dough seemed too stiff, try adding some extra coconut milk, or even water. Also, I used a large egg, so that adds some extra moisture compared to medium eggs. Also microwaves can vary. Mine worked just right at 65 seconds, but yours might need less time. My buns were steamy and moist coming out from the microwave. (so moist, that is why I chose to toast them) That being said, coconut flour can take some getting used to!
