Since I spend a lot of time on the computer, I totally over think, second guess, ponder, etc. any big purchase. I have wanted a Keurig coffee maker for a VERY long time. I researched, searched best prices etc. and I finally found a KILLER deal.
http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.K34705.desc.Keurig-Platinum-Series-Quiet-Brewer-w48-KCups-My-KCup
This same pot is at Target and Wally mart for 179.00, just for the pot. The 2 filters that come with this pot are about 20.00 a piece and the K cups would retail around 25.00? So if any of you are in need of a new coffee pot, here you go. It only took me hours of searches etc. to find a great deal. That same yes/no searching is why I didn't get my Kindle until I got the 50.00 Walmart card with it. 50.00 is 50.00 bucks...now I just have to be willing to go into a Walmart to spend it. As a previous small business owner, I do not like Walmart:(
Since I don't have a job, I like to think that I save my husband money in some ways:)
We are going to a new car show today. We have champagne taste on a beer budget and my husband has his sights set pretty high on a new car. He is finally putting his beloved Mustang in the equation. I for one would like to spend the money on updating our home, but again...since I don't work....you know how that goes.
I'm still doing great on my weight, I still haven't made any effort to lose more. I am still pondering trying to get down further. I am just not willing to do the work yet.
I am going to do what Minichick suggested and have my BMI done at the Y next week. It is EXTREMELY important to be fully hydrated, so no coffee or exercise prior to the test. Just saying:)
Thank you to Dawn for answering my concerns about the Stevia in the Raw cup for cup. I am very happy to say that I used it to sweeten my ice tea and it tastes exactly like the packets. I was afraid I had wasted 7.99. It just must be too strong for the cookies. I will try it in baked goods instead of boiled goods and do what Dawn advises and have a little taste first. Of course before I add raw egg.
Have a great and Blessed Sunday! Car show/Macy's/TJ Maxx/dinner/ and visit with my little Sis at the nursing home. A full day:) I am not having a slugfest today!!! Woot!

Slugfest at my house!
So.... I am a slug, I do nothing all day but watch TV and play on the computer. I do read sometimes...I am currently reading "Matched", it is similar/same genre as "The Hunger Games" trilogy...which I loved!!! It's OK. I have downloaded some books on my Kindle, but have not read anything on there. I am saying this because I am a very poor role model for "living life". I have my food under control, but not my activity level. Maybe I am enjoying the quiet before the storm of the next few weeks? I am saying this because we all have our weaknesses. Mine is laziness:( I think I need a 12 step program....or a cattle prod.
I did go to Zumba on Wednesday. It was OK:( I do not like the instructor, and I like her less after Wednesday. That is a bummer:( I will go tomorrow, I will!
I have not gotten my netrition order yet. I think Pattie had asked about my almond flour. I ordered Bob's Red Mill because it was familiar. I am anxious to try the Carbquick and syrup for pancakes. I am also excited to try some baked goodies with the coconut and almond flour.
Since we all have agreed to disagree at times I wanted to mention a couple of other things.....(I hope)
The reason I use myfitnesspal.com is not just because it tells me how many calories a day I am eating. But when I am so sedentary, it is a necessary thing to know. You can track different things, and like Amber, I set mine up to track sugar/carbs/fiber/calories/sodium. I personally think calories matter at the end of the day. Our body can only burn a certain amount each day and if we continually go over that amount, we will not lose, we will gain. If I stay within my s/c for the day, I am usually in the right range of calories too.
I also think that Rosalie does not giver herself enough credit for her walking. 2.5 miles a day is 2.5 miles a day more than most people get up and move. I wish I lived near her so I could get my butt out the door! Walking is exercise, it is a weight bearing exercise, which is exactly what we all should be doing. A minimum of 30 minutes a day, 5 or more days a week. I know this. I know how important exercise is. I know that I should move more. And I don't!!!
Another thought is a question?. I bought the Stevia in the Raw in the big bag to make the no bake cookies. I tried using heavy cream instead of almond milk in the first batch and they were awful and very bitter. I was hoping it was the cream. I made another batch today, using the Stevia and they are also really bitter. I didn't throw them away, but I don't think they will be calling my name. It's a bummer. Someone on facebook mentioned the Just Like Sugar, is that allowable? So has anyone else had the bitter after taste with the Stevia in the big bag?
So that is my confession for the day. The good news is that my daughter/grandson will be here next Tuesday, and for 2 weeks, life will be crazy. Then a week of quiet and my husband will be done with work and travel. I guess that's my excuse for my "sluggish" behavior!
I could not post on some blogs today, now I know how frustrating it is for people. I had the same weird word to type in over and over. Even logging out and back in did not help. So if I didn't blog you back, I did read it!
I am so grateful for all of my blogger buddies!
Oh and update on my sister and brother in law, she has lost 23 lbs and he has lost 20. They both cannot believe how much better they feel and how much better they sleep. I am very excited for them!
Blessings all:)

Beautiful sunshine and I got my Kindle Fire:)
Woo hoo!!!
Today is the first Tuesday of the month so I met my gym friends at the pizza place. I had my usual canadian bacon/pepperoni pizza and I just put all the toppings on 2 crusts. Yummy! Tonight I have Bunko. The hostess has been attempting to do BFC type food, so hopefully there will be some fun low sugar things there.
I got some new things for my kitchen to add color....
I LOVE this color of blue, it reminds me of the ocean. It was time for dishtowels and dishrags too, even new pot holders. Woot! I love TJ Maxx, we are supposed to get a Marshall's here soon. I just hope the dish rags and dish towels don't fall apart after I wash them!
When I was in Georgia I feel in love with my son in law's best friend that was starting Ranger school the Sunday that I left. 1 in 7 men make it through. He made it through 7 of 62 days. I am so bummed. I prayed so hard for him to make it through the first 3 days (the worst) and then didn't think of him as often. Out of sight, out of mind. I wish so badly that I wouldn't have "ceased" adding him to my daily thoughts. A reminder to never forget those that need our prayers or special thoughts. No matter how much time passes. Pattie, still thinking of you!
You are all so special and I have plenty of time to say happy thoughts for all of you.
Patties blog about adding just a minute of exercise really hit home with me. I sent myself an email with the information. Sadly I have become very sedentary again and I hate that about myself. Ugh!!!
I will go to Zumba tomorrow...hold me accountable:)
Blessings and happy scales...

Favorite things that I eat....
DISCLAIMER....what works for me, may not work for others:)
Multi grain sandwich thins. I sometimes have them for breakfast and lunch.
Breakfast:
Scrambled eggs with either little smokies or ham and spinach.
Jimmy Dean microwave sausage pattie on a sandwich thin with butter.
English muffin with Jif and Raspberry Nature's Hollow
Lunch:
Sandwich thin with lunch meat, hamburger patty, pepperoni slices
Spinach/mayo/ dill pickle/green olives/
Chili Cheese Frito's or about 8 potato chips. I always, always put the chips on the plate and put the chips away. I do not ever get more out.
Campbell's chicken noodle soup (lots of sodium)
Dinner:
Pork cutlets with or without Shake n Bake/ pork chops
I LOVE meat! Most meats....chicken/pork/steak....
I often (too often) make fake mashed potatoes and I add chopped spinach the last minute of cooking.
Gravy packets/pork, chicken, brown
Hamburger gravy over potatoes.
Small potatoes fried with a little red pepper flakes (yummy)
Potato soup with red pepper flakes
I do not eat very many healthy things so if veggies are added somewhere...that's good. I pretty much have settled on spinach. I also use Hidden Valley Ranch for dressing.
We eat out a LOT!!! KFC, Mexican, Red Robin, Burgers, Arby's. I just eat a few fries...I think Jorge said we could have like 10 steak fries? If I am eating a burger type sandwich I only have 1 side of the bun. KFC is allowed also and I usually just have a Breast and wing with mashed/gravy.
I drink a TON of iced tea with Stevia in the raw. I make about a gallon every other day. I used my coffee pot to brew the tea and use 6 stevia packets for sweetening. After my experience with diet soda, I am NOT going to have them for a very long time. I really think they block me up and make me hungry.
I don't eat snacks, I am lucky that way.
I was really in to the Cutie oranges but it seems they aren't around right now. They have a high sugar content but I am pretty much on maintenance and I am not as concerned since I don't eat very many other high sugar things.
I have one cup of coffee in the morning and I do use Heavy whipping cream. When I was first doing the BFC I had a small portion of berries with cool whip every night. I also used to eat 2 eggs poached/3 pieces of bacon/sandwich thin every single day for months!!!
I know I eat way, way, way too many processed foods, but my blood work is all good and I am healthy:) The one thing I have tried to do since using myfitnesspal, is to watch my sodium more closely.
I take fish oil/flaxseed oil/ vitamin D/and magnesium every day. When I remember I take a green tea capsule.
That's it, not too healthy, but within the BFC guidelines.
Cheers:)

Superbowl Sunday:) Woot!!!
Cadence Marie and Cy Noah
I just watched Madonna at half time. I thought her last 3 minutes were tolerable. It just goes to prove that even with all the money in the world, you eventually age:( Dang...Drat....Pow!!! I have a wrinkle neck:)
Time to watch the end of the game and dream about my dip/fritos. An entire pot of potato soup getting thrown out and I believe hubby is picking up deli chicken. That my friends is what happens to people that don't plan in advance!
Oh, and yesterday was wonderful! My granddaughter was actually pretty good. We all went to Red Robin after the game. It's always a great day when my oldest son (32) is nice to me for an entire day!
I think I am going to buy a Kindle Fire tomorrow. Walmart....I hate Walmart...but money is money, and they are offering a 50.00 gift card with the purchase of the Kindle. Crazy! So what the heck, with my luck they will have sold out or something. Or I can change my mind for the millionth time. Yes/no Yes/no Yes/no...that runs through my head all day.
Oh and I finally ordered from Netrition today. I ordered carbquick, flax flour, almond flour and sugar free Joseph's maple syrup. Pancakes are on the horizon for me!
That's right...Superbowl!!!
Have a great night:)

So, so happy it is a NEW day!!!
Pork chop:)
Much better:)
We are going to my 12 year old grand daughters basketball game today. It is about a 2 hour drive there and back, but will be worth it to see her play. Memories:) It is also a beautiful sunny day and we can take advantage of the company car and company gas for a little longer! My 4 year old grandson will be there too, so it will be a happy day.
Thanks for listening. Reading. Comments...I feel so much better today! Bring on the food...just kidding:)
As Pattie would say....hugs to everyone....the rounds on me!

133.8 Back on track!
I'm back on track:) I have a couple of reasons that think the weight came back off so quickly.
1. In Georgia I drank only ice tea with Stevia in the raw. Here at home, when we eat out (which I do way too much), and they don't have fresh brewed tea, I tend to have a diet soda. I know...belly bad:( However, that small tweak, not having diet soda, I think helps.
2. Even though I eat a lot of belly bad things, I usually only eat a little of them. I don't ever feel the desire to "eat it all" because I won't be able to have it again. I know I can have it again, if I want to. No foods are off limits forever, at least for me. I try to be super good most of the time, so I can have a treat, once in awhile.
3. I am back with my friend Spinach. Since I don't like 90% of veggies, spinach has been a lifesaver to me. It feels good to have it back in my cure.
4. Like Pattie said, I don't really think about food all the time. It feels good to give that obsession up.
5. I don't snack. I could if I got hungry, but thank goodness I don't get hungry between meals.
6. Carey had mentioned that taking magnesium within 5 hours of your Synthroid can cause it to not be as effective. I now wait the full 5 hours between the meds and vitamins. Is that an answer? I don't know, but I totally appreciated the information.
Goals...
Go to Zumba!!!
Deal with stress better! Dawn had asked how we deal with stress? Lately I deal with it by isolating myself, quiet, think time. I used to deal with it by sharing it with all of my buddies for advice. I think that is a more positive way, and I need to get out more. So that is another goal, get out....visit...call someone...
Be more supportive of my husband and his career change. I am, don't get me wrong, but it is quite honestly extremely scary and I think he sees that in me. I need to be stronger about it, so he can feel better. I am truly excited for him, but scared for us. It will be fine! A month from now, no more job....no more perks of the job...no more company car:( But, he will be home and happy! It's a good thing that we get along so well because we will be seeing a LOT of each other:)
This post barely makes sense, but I wanted to check in. I feel good about my food, I am happy for my weight, and I need to count my blessings more.
