Browned turkey wings for gravy |
Yummy gravy! |
My plate:) At least there is a little green? |
We went to my son's on Saturday and I visited more with my DIL about the BFC. She actually was on the 17 day diet. She had messed up big time on Thanksgiving and when I talked to her today, she hadn't gotten back in control. It is so hard to start up again when we have failures, but starting up again makes us successful. I think that she doesn't really buy into sugar being in fruit, veggies and milk, so I don't think it is the plan for her.
I did some great online shopping over the weekend. That makes me happy:)
My husband's birthday is tomorrow and he is out of town. I am such a bad wife that I didn't get a card in advance for him to take with him. I really should be more on top of things.
I have been reading The Game Of Throne books and let me tell you, they are great! The bad thing is that I have been reading for several, and I mean several hours a day. I am on book 4 and it isn't as good as the first 3, so I am taking my time.
I hope everyone is hanging in there. Remember, we only fail if we quit. Onward!!!
Baby Konner 6 weeks. He already turns over from tummy to back! |
Your last comment is so true. This way of eating is not for everyone. I have learned that along the way. Its good to hear that you are doing well. Have a good one :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm on book 5, and have had to check it out twice. I can't remember if I actually finished it- it is REALLY slow. LOL. Someday...
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the weight! I'm back on the top of my high weights and on the way back down AGAIN. SIGH. It only takes a few days of bad eating to shoot my weight back up again. Hopefully soon I'll get back down.. :)
Baby Konner is so cute!
ReplyDeleteYour turkey gravy looks tasty.
Love that comment Kay. I needed to hear that. Konner is so cute. Also that gravy looks amazing!! What is your twitter name. I'm on twitter too. XO
ReplyDeleteI love that baby Konner! So sweet! BFC is not for everyone. We each have to find what works for us. My plan is to go on a juice feast in January. I will juice my own fruits at home in my juicer and do that for a few days. My husband is requesting 30 days; I'm thinking 3. ha! While I'm feasting on fruit and veggie juices, I won't be eating foods. This is not only a cleansing of my body, but a renewing of my spirit and mind.
ReplyDeleteBTW: that gravy looks YUMMY!
