I had my physical on Tuesday. My cholesterol etc. has not changed in 3 years. I run at 214, but since there is no change, she isn't concerned. All of my blood work was great! I weighed the same as I did when I was in last December, so I guess it is how we see our clothes fitting. Fat/muscle. I was working out a lot last Fall, I have not this summer. I am going to attempt to get off my BP med's, she seemed doubtful, but would let me try under supervision. My thyroid remains stable on Synthroid. I feel like I take way too many meds at my young age of 55:(
We went to Seattle for my hubby's job interview, it was a long 2 days! The interview was a video conference, my husband being the only "live" person in the room. They obviously wanted to see what he looked like, which I get, but strange! They reimbursed us for gas/hotel which was well over 200.00 so they could see him on a video screen. Skype would have been cheaper and we could have saved a drive! I truly can't believe more people in Seattle aren't insane. It took us 45 minutes to go about 11 miles because of traffic. OMG, I would definitely be CRAZY!!!! We are spoiled in this area for sure. He has another interview with another company out of the Seattle area next Friday. Thank God they are coming here!!!
BFC front, moratorium is still in effect! The day after we got back from Seattle I weighed 141.4. Bad food and low fluid intake. It was better today, but I am still over where I want to be, by about 7 lbs. Actually I could care less what my weight was, if my waist was still 29 inches.
I am working my way through sinus issues that make even typing an effort. I am giving it til Monday before I see a Dr. I can function perfectly as long as I don't have to move my head up and down!
This wasn't quick, but it was an update!
Thank you all for being here, we are blessed!!!
I'm glad your doctor visit went good. I have never been to Seattle but I hear its pretty cause it rains a lot? Is that true?
ReplyDeleteHave a great day :-)
Good news about the physical. Good luck on the job possibility.
ReplyDeleteDo you know why you're having a difficult time keeping your weight down?
I don't like the Seattle traffic either - every time we go I am glad we moved. :) Have you checked your waist? I agree that that measurement is more important than the weight, but for your sake I hope your weight is down soon. It's not fun to be in the 140's - I know, Ive been here for almost 3 months now. ..
ReplyDeleteI agree Seattle is more fun to visit, living there would be a big traffic headache. We do live in a nice area even though it's not cool to say so :)Maybe you should try some other classes at the Y, maybe zumba isn't as exciting as it once was. Have a great day :)
ReplyDeleteWould you have to move to Seattle? I think not, right?
