Sunday, Fun Day!!!

First off, let me say that I am going nuts with this blog. I really want my sister and cousin to read Rosalie and Amber's blogs, heck all of my blogger buddies blogs....but not mine. I am really struggling with the decision. By making it invitation only, I have to have email addresses to invite. That's a problem:( I sent invites to everyone that I show is following, but I don't know how they notify you to accept? The invite to myself was just a little notification above my friends list (can you look and see if you have it?). I would have never thought to look there, so I doubt if any of you would see it either? Anyway, please hang with me while I get this figured out. I love my sister and my cousin, that's not what this is about...I just like my anonymity!!!

Cadence in her cool room!
Yesterday we spent the early afternoon at my oldest son's house. It was the first time that I had seen their new home and their new puppy Tebow. Fun day:) My human grandchildren Cadence and Cy were fun to be around. Cadence at 12 is more grown up, Cy at 4 still thinks I am fun!
My grand dogs:) Tebow is the bull dog.
Then I came home and slept, for 2 hours!!! I haven't had a 2 hour nap in forever!!!
Safe fabric
Bold fabric/final choice
Since you would like to see my new furniture choices...I am happy to share! At first I was going to try and get something that would match all of my Kinkade artwork....so the first picture was my first choice. As I sat and looked at the fabric sample, I realized I was being too safe. I have always wanted black leather and I love red, and Hawaii...so we went with the bold!
Lazy Boy rendering of the room
My swivel/rocker:)
It takes 8 weeks for it to get here, so I have to be patient. We bought 2 pillows in the fabric for the couch. My husband got his swivel/rocker/recliner that he has always wanted, so it will be fun!

Thank you to all of you for taking time to read this blog. Truly, I love reading about everyone's thoughts, life! Let's share more often!!!
Blessings and happy scales:)

  3. I love it! It looks great with the black leather. I wouldn't mind if you took your blog to private, but I didn't get an invitation in my mailbox. Have you not done that yet?

  4. LOVE the fabric! I think that everyone needs a bold/statement chair. I am looking for a peacock feather print with the vibrant colors....cause I am CA-RAZY like that ;)

  6. I can relate to your frustration about your sister and cousin reading your blog. I shared my blog with my mom which was a BAD DECISION, she now reads it and is critical, on Sunday she told me she thinks I share too much personal information. :(

I love your new furniture, especially your bold chair :)

  9. Oh, I really like your color choices, especially the chair! That will really make your room pop! I would have a hard time letting anyone I know come on the blogs. I like being able to say what I want and not having to worry what they might think. I really don't know how to make it private to some and open to others. If you figure it out let us know!
